Eyeing the Flash

Author: Peter Fenton
Stars: 1
Review by: Mandy Apgar

This was painfully bad. Well, not too painful. Was more so about as interesting as watching paint dry. Basically the author grew up in the world of carnivals - operating rides and games, and pretty soon learned the ins and outs of scamming his "flash" - or intended victim in a con, and soon worked his way up a scummy little ladder. Wound up meeting lots of people with very stupid aliases that made them sound like a demented version of the Justice League. His idea of class when he had money finally was to buy black silk boxers, which rather made me throw up a little. Just really, really boring and with no redeeming qualities other than that it ended.
