A thin, large format volume of photographs and captions of historic carousel animals. Preceded by a brief history of the industry and the creatures' making, the animals chosen complement the history in that there are samples from different eras. I just wish that more specimens would have been shown by the Philadelphia Toboggan Company as they were the most popular manufacturer in this area.
