Health and Wellness in the Renaissance and Enlightenment

Author: Joseph P. Byrne
Stars: 1
Review by: Mandy Apgar

Enough to make one want to have their tooth pulled instead. Was hoping for something not as dry and academic, but it was incredibly dull - very factual, which was excellent, but not with a trace of personality that its era calls for. Wasn't much of a history either, as it was a recollection of stories on people of the period. Veered off point quite a bit in that aspect and it was also sorely lacking cohesion in sections on women's health especially.
