The latest book in this series takes off with our main character and
her fiance finding some quiet time after the last adventure. This does
not last long. The author loosely bases this story on a Mississippi
legend regarding a "Lady in Red" that was accidentally disinterred and
then reinterred at a local cemetery. I looked up the method described
in the book about using cast iron, a glass top and alcohol and it
appears to have been the way of things back in the day. In this story,
the legend comes back to those in the story. There is a lot of family
tree digging, hidden facts, lies, etc. It gets a little dark for a cozy
type series, but that adds to this book's unique character.
