Picked this book up at the HC Library sale this spring and I'm so glad I
did. We're traveling to Gettysburg this summer and I highly recommend
it to anyone planning to visit. It offers a stunning re-creation of the
battle with vivid descriptions of the sights, sounds, smells, and most
importantly, the men who fought and risked their lives on the
battlefield. This book should be on everyone's to read list!
