Shucks, Shocks, and Hominy Blocks: Corn As a Way of Life in Pioneer America

Author: Nicholas P. Hardeman
Stars: 2
Review by: CBS

The writing style of this book fluctuates between straightforward factual reporting and highly romanticized descriptions. I was looking for info on corn to add to my autumn programs for school children. The facts were not complete and there are a few mistakes. Finishing this book was an ordeal. It left me wanting.
