Sarah Dessen introduces us to 17 year old Emma Saylor in her latest novel focusing on the various relationships that make up a young person’s life. Although intended for a teen audience, adults may enjoy the intergenerational aspect of the novel, in addition to the journey of this young woman trying to figure out who she is. This all takes place during the weeks Emma spends away from home, while living at the lake house that holds so many deep memories for her and her family.
