In author Abbi Waxman’s third and most recent novel, main character Nina Hill’s carefully planned life is uprooted by an unexpected romance and a family she never knew existed. Just a few pages in and I had fallen in love with this character, even before the introduction of her cat Phil! This book is light and funny, and is filled with literary references, a quirky and complex character, and even an appearance by a camel. Perfect for book lovers and any reader looking for a fun summer read!
