This book is the second in a mystery series by Ashley Weaver, a librarian in Louisiana. The series features an upper-class English couple in the 1930s. The main characters, Amory and Milo Ames have been compared to Nick and Nora Charles. I enjoyed the first book, which was an Edgar finalist, and have continued reading. Ms. Weaver's books are well-written and the characters are interesting. A nice summer reading find!
