An examination of the various jewels and pieces held by the British
royal family, in addition to a sort of structural history of some of
them - what kinds of stones are they, where were they found in what
mine, how
do the attributes affect the settings, things like that. So at a few
times it isn't all just pretty, shiny things. And of course there is a
good portion of the history along with it, as it is organized into
Victoria, Alexandra, Mary, Wallis Simpson, The Queen
Mother, Elizabeth II, and Diana.
