Not a novel though it reads
like one at times. This is a nonfiction title about the origin of the
Panama hat---a more serious work that interweaves the socio-economic and
political situations of Ecuador into the rest
of the hat information. Very well-reviewed by critics and though it was
interesting, I found it to be rather dry.
