to press to capitalize on its demise. Contains an excellent text
explaining the reasons they were moved to the West Side and were 30
stories taller
than originally planned; why the design was panned in architectural
circles, and other critical features that led to their possibility and
their subsequent demise. The pictures are very good and a reminder of
these icons that I first saw rising from my middle
school window 30 miles away.
