Perhaps if
this book hadn't come so highly recommended, I wouldn't have found it to
be such a disappointment. Sure, it's a memoir, so it doesn't have the
typical "plot" of a fictional story...but it
also lacked any sort of entertainment value. While it wasn't dreadful,
it certainly wasn't the comical or entertaining read I'd hoped and
expected it to be. :-/
