I read this
for my book group, and, like so many books we've chosen through the
years, this was an obscure gem that I probably never would have picked
up on my own. This book just pulled me in to its
magical descriptions of life and love. The story seemingly starts when a
young woman travels to Burma to look for her father, who suddenly and
mysteriously disappeared from her life. But the story is so much more
than that - it's like a fairy tale in which
you will lose yourself.
