This is seriously the greatest book about food and nutrition I have ever read! If you are curious about the rising rates of obesity read this book! The author discusses how our food has been getting blander as agriculture produces more efficiently...and how we have overcompensated for the blandness...to our detriment. So fascinating! It is heavy on science and research, but is a page-turner. I couldn't put it down and I can't stop talking about it!
