Not exactly good, but not bad either, just an easily readable account of how Washington was chosen as our capital, why it was built there, how, and the people involved. It would have been better if not for a tendency to veer off subject into various biographical details of the numerous people involved, but kudos to its proper credit given to slave labor in building the city (something which most books are too PC to acknowledge).
