Once more into the formula.. a sexy love/not love story on the Team.. a WWII subplot. This time Pearl Harbor AND one of the first WWII navy frogmen.. the precursor to the Seals. We begin with the Seals in Afghanistan where our hero for this book, Mike, breaks his kneecap, and still carries a team member to safety!! While recovering he is assigned to escort a White House staffer as she tours the base.. you know what happens. The President has decided to award the Seal Team a bravery in action service award.. much involves the President and a trip to the Seal base to bestow the award in the midst of terrorists threats. Sam and Alyssa tiptoe around the edge of this, as Sam moves towards a divorce from the wife he 'had' to marry.. turns out she tricked him with a faulty condom!!! This is the weakest book thus far in the series...still a fun read, but maybe the series is not moving in a good direction.
