French Ghosts, Russian Nights, and American Outlaws: Souveniers of a Professional Vagabond

Author: Susan Spano
Stars: 1
Review by: Mandy Apgar

Awful, even for a travel writer, and that bloody says a lot. Accounts of various journeys done during the author's career, but she doesn't seem very interested in things all the time and tends to self soliloquize a bit too much. She traveled around quite a bit, with places in the Middle East, Europe, etc. accounted for, but none are written up with much personality. More so along the lines of "look at me, I'm an important person! I get to go here!" sort of thing instead of a more open and frankly respectful account of the places.
