Sounds like
the perfect summer read, right? Well, no. I just looked at some reviews
on Amazon and see I'm not alone in thinking it was poorly written. I was
very surprised as I began reading it since
on the back of the book there are glowing reviews by journals and other
authors for her other books. I only read it to the end because I was
curious to see if her writing would improve. There were a few spots that
were better and some plot developments that
were interesting. But it was rather akin to watching the aftermath of a
car accident--morbid curiosity!
