I'm not quite finished with this book but have read enough to write a
review. The narrator and main character is Billy, a bisexual whose
first love is Miss Frost, a transgender librarian who introduces Billy
to books about "crushes on people you shouldn't have a crush on". As
with many of his other books, Irving focuses on characters that are
different and peculiar. We follow Billy for more than a half century as
he lives his life as a "sexual suspect".
