WW II Russia. A Red Army deserter and a 17 year old boy are
sent on a mission to find a dozen eggs for the General's daughter's
birthday. They have one week. If they find them they live, if they
don't they die. Characters are amazing along with the people they meet
along the way of their quest. Great book.
