And the Miss Ran Away With the Rake

I love this writer.  There is always something that makes me laugh.

It starts when the duke plays a joke on his uncle - he places an ad in the paper saying, "Gentleman looking for wife."  He reads one letter out of about 200 responses to the ad.  It's from a "Miss Spooner."  They meet at a ball and enjoy each other's company, but they don't realize they are from feuding families.  The best part is when, after Miss Spooner's family has locked her away in her room until they can get her married to someone else, Lord Henry climbs up a rope sent down from the roof by a stable boy.  They marry, have 5 children, and, 15 years later, are still so passionately in love with each other.
