I was intrigued by the title, and I wanted to love this book. But it didn't
happen. It was an enjoyable read, but I just couldn't get very emotionally
involved with the characters. I don't know why. They were likable and
interesting, and the book had enough twists and turns, but it just never grabbed
me. It's the story of Rosemary, a girl (now a young woman) who grew up in an
unusual family situation. Bit by bit, we, along with Rosemary, put together
memories and pieces of the past in order to make sense of it. Not only that, but
Rosemary has to learn how to integrate her past into her adult identity.
