Imagine having 3 alternate lives through which you rotate, spending a few days
at a time in each one. One is in the present, another in 1918, and the last in
1941. You are the same age in each one, you live in the same place, and the
same people to whom you are closest are in your other lives as well. But what
is going on in each life is different from the others, due to circumstances and
events and social mores of the times. Greta Wells experiences this
alternate-life travel (different from time travel) for three months of her
life.
Like time travel books, this concept can make your head spin, but
in a good way. This book is quite enjoyable, and I plan to read it again in
order to better get my head around some of the happenings. I'm looking forward
to that.
