This is the first book I've read by Binchy and I really enjoyed it. Her
character development is very good and she introduces her characters one by one,
each with their own chapter. They all meet for a weeks vacation in an old,
beautifully renovated inn on the Atlantic coast of Ireland. Each chapter is a
like a short story but she does not spend much time developing the interactions
between the characters while they are staying at the inn. That is the only
thing I found lacking in the book and I felt it ended abruptly. Maybe I just
wanted to know more about what happened next for the characters!
