The Summer Without Men

Author: Siri Hustvedt
Stars: 4
Review by: Lynne T.

This book is a great read for the summer, because it takes place during that season, and it's a flawed but artistic treatment of a woman in her 50s struggling with her marriage troubles and reflecting on her mother's friends, her students, and her young neighbor. Her insights are refreshing.
