I would rank this #4 out of the 5 books in the series so far. The myriad plot
lines are advanced by way too much talking and not enough action. The "cast of
thousands" character list is getting way too unwieldy, to the detriment of the
main characters' development. That being said, this series is a stunning
achievement in fantasy literature. If by book #4, after over 4000 pages, things
are a little getting bogged down, we can still be amazed at the scope and
breadth of this creation. Will be eagerly awaiting book #6, in hopes of the
earlier quality of the first 3 installments.
