This is the 1st book in the Aunt Dimity series. It was a very pleasant read.
It starts with our main character, Lori, hitting rock bottom in her life. She
then finds out that the main character from her childhood stories, Aunt Dimity,
is real but unfortunately deceased. This leads her to an adventure that brings
her childhood stories to life and allows her to heal. The story adds some
history, paranormal activity and matchmaking to make it a very enjoyable,
comforting read. I hope the rest of the series stays at the same level.
