The earth's rotation is slowing. As people struggle to cope with longer days
& nights, stronger gravity and other changes, 12 year old Julia also
struggles to cope with peer pressure, her parents strained marriage, a troubled
boyfriend. Told from Julia's point of view, the gradual changes are confusing
but often seem less important than a friend who moves away.
