The book is filled with symbolism and wordy imagery.The story goes back and forth from a writer and a taxidermist-would-be-writer discussing his play that he is writing,and the fantasy of the play itself about 2 talking animals.The dialogue in the book moves the story along to a thought-provoking twist ending.
