When their shepherd turns up dead with a shovel through his heart, the flock decides to find our why. With convoluted - but reasonable to a sheep - logic, they investigate the most likely suspects (chief among them, the butcher) arriving at much the same conclusions as the dull-witted humans. Each sheep has a personality, talents, background, etc., that make this humorous mystery a real treat.
