Fiction. Setting - Jackson, Mississippi 1962. The story of three black maids, their families and the families they work for. Segregation and the lines and feelings of those involved. A book that evokes emotions that make it difficult to put down.

I read this book before there were a lot of holds on it. It is a great book that was hard to put down, especially into the wee hours of the night. I have recommended it to all my friends!
