Beyond Repair: The Decline and Fall of the CIA

Author: Charles S. Faddis

Review by: Carolyn from Ringoes

Well-articulated description of how the CIA moved from the lean organization begun as the OSS to the overbloated, bureacratic organization of today. Provides a suggested intelligence-gathering organizational model able to meet 21st century challenges. The proposed model includes the same ingredients needed for a successful revenue-generating business (e.g., flat structure, accountability).
