Patterns in the Sand

Author: Sally Goldenbaum
Stars: 3.5
Review by: JamBob

Second book in the Seaside Knitters Mystery series following Death by Cashmere. A pretty mysterious stranger comes to the harbor town and suddenly a prominent artist is found murdered. Is there something to tie these two people together? Have bad feelings amongst the inhabitants produced a tragic ending for one of them? You can smell the briny breezes and grilled shrimp cooking while the author weaves a tale of suspicion in this colorful seaside town. The fictitious characters knit soft caps for cancer patients and the author was thoughtful enough to include a pattern in the back of the book for anyone else who wants to knit head huggers for cancer patients who lost their hair. A mystery with salty sea flair!
