I'll Never Be French

Author: Mark Greenside
Stars: 3
Review by: TooManyBooksTooLittleTime

In the same type of humor as Bill Bryson, without the intelligence and wit of Peter Mayle, comes the story a native New Yorker, living in California, and visiting Brittany in France for a summer vacation to write. He then ends up buying what sounds like an extremely charming house and lovely friends in the village. I was not as interested in him, as I was in the house and the surroundings. Quick read at 241 pages.
