The Quilter's Legacy

Author: Jennifer Chiaverini

What a delightful book about a family whose history is wrapped in quilts. I am not a quilter but I enjoyed reading this book that was about family ties interwoven with real history. The emphasis is on a ficticious family that lived through the early 1900's and into modern day not about quilting per se. The present day family member is seeking to recover the quilts her mother made many years ago. Her search uncovers more than the quilts but a rich history of love and sacrifice. A warm loving read for a balmy summer day!
