I expected a much different book. I am not sure if it was the title that misled me but I expected a story of the TV show, Little House on the Prairie, as lived by the actress who gave voice to Laura Ingalls Wilder's words. Instead we got a typical Hollywood "kiss and tell" book about the private life of Melissa Gilbert. While it is always great to see a renaissance or rebirth of someone...I was really put off by the details of her romances, her drinking and her drug use. With limited time to read, I didn't want to read that kind of story.
