I looked at this book three times before I picked it up (I thought it had a goofy cover)and what do they say.....
If you don't have the time or money to get to China, go with Maarten. Don't speak Chinese? No problem, neither does Maarten! Travel with him all across the country from the industrial coast to Tibet. Get the feel of politics, food, and capitalism in China. Very entertaining.
