Found this on a library book list. Loved and devoured the first two thirds of the book, got to the last third and felt it dragged. The conclusion was expected, normal politics and intrigue, but I was disappointed at the end. It was written by the former Executive Editor of The Washington Post, so it did give an inside view of what a political reporter's world is about, even though it was fiction.
