This book was surprisingly very good. It is a ficticious story about the women of The Bible. It really helped me learn what those women went through and the many rituals they had during those times.

I read this book last summer, and I loved it. If you liked The red Tent, you may want to try a three-part series by Maggie Anton. It is about three sisters in Jewish France in about the year 1000 or so. A great saga - I just got the third one and can't wait to sstart it.
