What a surprise, to find such a great book! I loved it! The author's son, Rowan, is autistic. While riding a neighbor's horse, Betsy, the author discovers a powerful connection that his son and the horse share. And so begins, this wonderful story, which finds the author, his wife and son travelling to Mongolia for healing with the horse tribes of Mongolia. Although a non-fiction book, this is an exciting adventure, which also reveals the challenge of raising an autistic child. It is often said that we lack heroes in today's society, well, I found a real live hero in Rupert Isaacson.
