The cover of this book has a very cute picture of a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. However, this book is more than a dog book. It is the story of how a family recovers from a terrible tragedy and with the help of their dog, puts together all the pieces of their life together. It is very funny and at times, very moving. I enjoyed this book.
