The reason I gave this book a 5 was because it takes place in Southport, NC - our vacation home.
i was there while they shot the film and saw the stars etc. It was extremely exciting and if you look close you may see me in the movie

This book had good description of Paris, but I felt there could have been more action and point to the story.

This book was easy to read, with great descriptive writing. It stayed with me. I think of it as a mystery where the reader gets obvious hints about what happened, as the story unfolds, but the drama is in waiting for the characters to figure it out.

Picked this up at the suggestion of the librarian...as she promised, it was a fun mystery. it did include more "romance" than i'd anticipated or would have chosen, but not so much that you'd have lost any of the story when you skip it. i'll likely look for more of her work to read again soon!

I didn't enjoy this as much as her other stand-alones. I think reading the short stories that featured Helen/Heloise might give more character insight.

About a man with two girls who has to say goodbye to his wife. This was the book the George Clooney movie was based on. My uncle said he thought it was funny, I just thought it was sad.

Several short stories that each focus on one character that works for a foreign newspaper. In between are chapters that talk about the history of the paper. Funny, sad; all the characters are flawed, but some have winning characteristics.
